Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Rizz AI collects, how it's used, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
1. What we collect
- Phone number (used for sign-in via OTP, and as your referral/abuse-prevention key).
- Credit balance, transaction history, and unlock status (stored to run the credit economy).
- Rizz Score history (if you use Rate My Chat) and streak/activity data.
- If you enter 18+ mode: your date of birth, the time you accepted our Terms, the Terms version, and your IP address — kept as evidence of age-verification.
- Payment records (amount, reference, status) for credit purchases via Paystack.
2. Screenshots are processed, not stored
When you use the Reply Generator with a chat screenshot, the image is sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions and is not retained by Rizz AI after the request completes.
3. Teen / under-18 users
The Confidence mode (default for everyone) is designed to be data-light for younger users. If you are under 18, we ask for a parental/guardian acknowledgment before you can continue using certain features, consistent with NDPA's rules on processing a child's personal data. We do not show the screenshot Reply Generator or Spicy content to accounts in teen mode.
4. How we use your data
- To operate the credit ledger, daily allowance, streaks, and referrals.
- To verify your age before granting access to 18+ content.
- To process payments and prevent fraud/abuse (e.g. referral dedup).
- To improve the product (aggregated, where possible).
5. Your rights (NDPA)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us via the Support page to make a request.
6. Data sharing
We share data with service providers strictly as needed to run the App: our AI provider (for generating replies), Firebase (authentication and data storage), and Paystack (payment processing). We do not sell your personal data.
